My name is Candace, I have been in the medical field for 23 years. I started as a CNA and then went to college in beautiful Linn County and where I obtained my Medical Office Specialist certificate. I worked for Samaritan Health for 10 years before moving back to Grants Pass in 2018. I began working as a Medical Assistant for Northwest Family Practice two years ago. I enjoy hiking in the woods, days on the river and hanging out with my three beautiful children and my amazing granddaughter. I would eventually like to continue schooling and become an RN, but until then I am enjoying working beside our wonderful team and our amazing patients at Northwest Family Practice.

I took a 2 year break and then went to work for Michael Petersen DO until his passing. From there I was hired for Hematology Oncology Associates for 16yrs, however I was not able to move forward with the Change to Asante due to not being vaccinated.
